Finding our off the grid location can be a little tricky. Use the instructions and maps linked below to help find your way to us a little bit easier!

Directions to Moab Ranch

Starting from Downtown Moab: Drive Time From Moab = ~40 Min.

Starting in Moab City: Drive North on Main Street (Highway 191) until you leave town and cross the Colorado River Bridge.

  1. Drive 1.3Miles from the bridge and turn Left on Potash Road. (NOTE- You will loss mobile phone service shortly after to turn onto Potash Road. Be sure to download these directions and save the map.)

  2. Follow Potash Road for 16.6 miles until the end of the pavement.

  3. Continue along this winding dirt road for 2.1 miles until you see a small blue sign that says “The Caves” at which point you’ll turn left off the main road onto our private drive.

  4. Continue after the left turn. After 1.1 miles you will pass our Ranch Property Gate. Continue another 0.2 miles until you reach a fork in the road. Turn Right (toward the ranch house on the hill.

Directions to Colorado River Overlook Tour Starting Location

River Ranch Starting Point

Starting from Downtown Moab: Drive Time From Moab = ~40 Min.

The starting point for the tour is a remote private ranch along the Colorado River. You will need to drive on a section of dirt road to arrive but a 2wd vehicle is sufficient.

  1. Starting in Moab City: Drive North on Main Street (Highway 191) until you leave town and cross the Colorado River Bridge.

  2. Drive 1.3Miles from the bridge and turn Left on Potash Road. (NOTE- You will loss mobile phone service shortly after to turn onto Potash Road. Be sure to download these directions and save the map.)

  3. Follow Potash Road for 16.6 miles until the end of the pavement. Here the Road changes name to Shafer Road.

  4. Continue along this winding dirt road for 2.1 miles until you see a small blue sign that says “The Domes at Moab on the Colorado River 1.4m” at which point you’ll turn left off the main road onto our private drive.

  5. As you turn left off of Shafer Road and cross the wash you will see many “private property” and “no turn around” and “stop” signs as you proceed down our private drive, not to worry these are just to discourage trespassers.

6. Continue after the left turn. After 1.1 miles you will pass our Ranch Property Gate. Continue another 0.2 miles until you reach a fork in the road. Turn Right (toward the ranch house on the hill.
7. As you approach the Ranch House you will see a large concrete area circled by tall fencing (This is a large basketball court). This is your meeting point and starting point for the tour.
